Cascading Slot Drain Sink
A charcoal grey slot drain double vanity sink is a one-of-a-kind design. The water from two wall mount faucets cascades over a surface emulating the erosive effects of water on stone over time. A very thin, sleek look!
Windfall Ecology Centre
Recently, Evergreen was selected to provide countertops as part of an energy efficience makeover for the 90 year old Sheppard’s Bush home in Aurora. We embedded lots on local aggregates and recycled materials, including auto glass. The home is situated on a rise of rolling land and surrounded by maple forest and is the stately 3 story 5000 square foot home of Windfall Ecology Centre.
Windfall is a non-profit, environmental organization dedicated to building sustainable communities by conserving resources, preventing pollution and protecting and enhancing natural ecological process.
Within Canada, the Windfall Ecology Centre monitors progress and participates in numerous national environmental issues and initiatives. Through an agreement with Green Communities Canada and the David Suzuki Foundation, they provide local leadership for David Suzuki’s Nature Challenge.
At the provincial level, Windfall Ecology Centre provides technical support and services for community based renewable energy projects. They are a founding member of the Ontario Sustainable Energy Association, Ontario’s leading advocate for community based renewable energy initiatives.

Slot drain sinks
If you have a location that you don’t need to retain the water in the basin, a slot style drain offers a stylish and modern alternative to a conventional drain. These are commonly used in powder rooms, or for those who don’t ever see the need to “fill up the bowl”. This type of drain adapts easily to standard plumbing and can be easily cleaned using any small nylon brush. As long as part of the slot is at the lowest point on the basin, these drain systems can be designed in any length or width.
